Hiking

Highbridge Hills has developed a "multi-use" trail system to include good old fashioned hiking throughout our property. For the most part, hiking follows the named courses and fairways along the edge, however, additional trails and routes deviate from the main trail and then reconnect. Theses additional trails take in much more challenging terrain, unique features about the property and additional scenic views. Conditions WILL VARY depending on the weather conditions. We advise you to have a variety of clothing and shoe options. At the present time, all hiking takes place on the hill and originates at the "hilltop clubhouse"!

Special Blueberry Hill Nature Trail

This past summer in 2010, we were fortunate enough to have a college student from Stevens Point intern with us and volunteer a lot of his time to further create activities at HHSC. His efforts focused on a trail that highlights the #1 course in the world!  The walking trail has more than 140 named trees, shrubs, plants and grasses! It is truly a unique trail with native species to Wisconsin abounding. It is "unbelieveable", says Marshall, to find so much on so little of an area!  We expect to and will be offering field trip packages to groups, schools and colleges in May of 2011 when the vegetation comes back to life!
