HIGHBRIDGE HILLS FIRST ANNUAL BIKE RALLY

Sept 17 - 20, 2010

LOCATION:  One mile south of Highbridge on County road C ,Fire # 69131, known as the Disc golf learning center! Highbridge is located in the center of Ashland county, once the county seat and is 18 miles south of Ashland and 5 miles north of Mellen.

EVENT:  Motorcycle Rally in conjunction with the activities taking place in Tomahawk WI, with the Harley - Davidson rally and open house. Non affiliated with the Tomahawk event, just want to give all you cycling enthusiasts a view of  Northern Wisconsin in full and living color!

SITE: The site is on 80 acres of sandy loam/grassy land. It is mowed and groomed and 40 acres is lit up for Night Disc Golf. Concession stand, music stage and 5 tents set up for your convenience. Right off of County C a blacktop road!

FUN: Friday and Saturday night camping. Music on Friday night , 7-11 with a well known 5 piece local band! Get to know other bikers and sleep under the dark Highbridge Sky. We will have the grills going as well as our concession stand. Hayrides in the works....hope for a beautiful star lit night! Saturday around 10 a.m. depart on our way for the circle tour of the most scenic drive you can imagine. From Highbridge travel to Mellen via C and then take 169 to U.S. 2. West on 2 with a brief stop at the Bad River Lodge and Casino for those who need to stop, otherwise a brief layover in Ashland. Depart and take U.S. 2 to Hiway 13 and head along the Superior Lake Shore to Washburn, Bayfield, Red Cliff, Cornicopia, and Herbster. Travel south into Iron River on County A Leave Iron River in time to stop at the Delta Diner for ice cream and sodas! We then journey home to Highbridge on County roads H, E, and C with a stop at the "Four Corners" country side gathering hole! Upon returning, we will have the pig roast and "bikers" meal, maybe a little more music, with a 10 o"clock bon fire!
Then on Sunday a challenge to all you bikers to have the longest "bike train" to Tomahawk ever to leave Ashland county! Sunday is still a busy day at the open house at the Harley plant!

We will also have golf carts to view our 400 acres available, initiate our BMX tracks, and maybe even have our Highbridge Lawn Mower Racing track up and running. For sure, you can disc golf the world's largest complex and experience what Highbridge Hills is all about!
