DISC GOLF
Disc golf is the flying disc variant of the game of golf. Instead of with a ball and (many different) golf-clubs this games is played with a frisbee or flying disc.
Players traverse a course making as few throws as possible in reaching objects placed strategically throughout the area. Many terms you will encounter in ball golf are also familiar in disc golf. For example: tee, hole, hole in one, putt, approach, birdie, par, and drive.
Disc golf is often played in a public park where many obstacles such as trees and water are to be met. Today, private pay for play courses are becoming more popular. As such it is a recreational sport in the open air, for people of all ages and of all skill levels
ULTIMATE
Ultimate is a fast paced, non-contact field game which involves running, throwing, catching and teamwork. The disc may be advanced only by completing a pass to a teammate. The goal is to complete a pass into the end zone to score a point. A team may throw as many passes as they wish and retain possession as long as the disc is in the air – although the thrower has only 10 seconds to release a pass. All turnovers result in an immediate change of direction of play. Games are generally played to 15 points.
